Schaeffer SynShield OTR Plus is a heavy-duty diesel engine oil formulated to provide maximum protection against wear, oxidation, deposit formation, soot contamination and aeration. Suitable for use in 2007 and 2010 emission compliant engines that utilize heavy exhaust recirculation and exhaust after-treatment devices, SynShield OTR provides excellent fuel economy benefits while maintaining the durability and the life of your engine. This advanced performance, 10W-30 engine oil not only meets, but exceeds the requirements for API heavy-duty diesel engine oil service categories including CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4, CI-4 Plus and older. In addition, it offers superior thermal and oxidative stability, enhanced detergency and dispersency, excellent cold cranking startability and low volatility characteristics to control oil consumption. Schaeffer Motor Oil is engineered with two frictional modifiers that, once plated, form a long lasting, slippery, steadfast lubricant film that prevents metal-to-metal contact and damaging frictional wear.

The product is particularly suitable for use in 2007 and 2010 emission complaint engines that utilize heavy EGR and exhaust after-treatment devices such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) with or without Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOCs) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).
